In our experience, many advisors will claim that they provide comprehensive financial planning, yet you rarely see them and the conversations typically center around insurance or investments when you do. Physicians and Dentists need an Advisor that is just as interested in discussing a debt repayment analysis, guiding a client through estate planning, and reviewing their car financing terms as they are in managing their assets.

Developing the plan comes first.

We feel it is important to understand what we do, how we do it, and how the planning is specifically customized to the needs of physicians and dentists before you divulge any personal information.

After we provide a detailed explanation of our methods and strategies, we take a few minutes to walk you through our financial planning agreement and the cost of our services. We send you home with that information so you can discuss it with your spouse or think it over privately. You will not be asked to make a decision to work with our firm in this meeting.

We will review your plan together. This will include an extensive analysis of your situation and an organized format of what recommendations we believe are in your best interest. We also prepare a money map for your specific budget to improve financial tracking and discipline, which we will discuss in this meeting.

Once you’ve had a chance to review the plan, we will reach out and ask if any adjustments need to be made. If none are needed, then third meeting is unnecessary; however, if changes are made to the initial plan document, we normally meet again to review how these changes impact the analysis and future financial projections.

Our priority is your understanding and confidence in your unique strategy. You will walk away from this meeting with a sense of security about your finances and a final plan that can be implemented.

We will update your analysis, which is our way of checking your progress and confirming that the strategies being used are working
appropriately to meet your short term and long term financial needs.

We will also make any necessary revisions to your budget's infrastructure and adapt the strategies to reflect any changes in your financial situation. This meeting will typically involve your CPA and Estate Planning Attorney. As a group, we will walk through several potential scenarios as a stress test. The goal will be to assess qualitatively and quantitatively whether or not the established plan can survive various situations when reviewed through the lens of experts in Tax Planning, Legal Planning, and Financial Planning.

This meeting will be done once a year, though we are always available should need arise.
