Matthew White is an accomplished entrepreneur and financial professional with more than 17 years of experience in the financial services industry. He began his career with two Fortune 500 firms, where he was consistently recognized among the top 5% of advisers nationwide. Entering the field in 2007—at the height of one of the nation’s most difficult recessions—he quickly developed the expertise to guide clients through volatile markets and complex life transitions.
In 2012, Matthew began focusing exclusively on physicians and dentists, a decision that ultimately led him to partner with Dr. Blake McGowan. Together, they co-founded White and McGowan in 2014, a firm dedicated to helping medical professionals align their wealth strategies with both professional goals and personal values.
Beyond his work at White and McGowan, Matthew has founded and led multiple successful ventures. He is the Founder and CEO of Unwind, a luxury vacation rental management and design company with operations in 12 states and 17 markets across the U.S. He also serves as Co-founder and CFO of OMS Consulting, an oral surgery business with operations in 16 states across the country. OMS is dedicated to expanding access to oral surgery and anesthesia for adolescent patients, regardless of payer or geography, and Matthew plays a critical role in scaling operations, shaping financial strategy, and ensuring its mission is executed with excellence.
Matthew’s leadership and entrepreneurial success were recognized in Arkansas Business “40 Under 40” in 2025.
A graduate of Harding University, Matthew and his wife, Kelly, are the proud parents of four children. They are actively involved in their community and have served as foster parents, ultimately adopting their daughters Eliana and Kate Marie. Between 2014 and 2019, Matthew served on the advisory board of The CALL in Pulaski County, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting children in foster care.
In addition to his professional and philanthropic commitments, Matthew enjoys investing in businesses and real estate. Outside of work, he can often be found playing the piano, guitar, or traveling.
