Perhaps time is best compared to the wind. We cannot control where it comes from or where it goes, but we are can harness its power and propel ourselves forward into the life we want most.
You may be asking, "How in the world can you make recommendations and know what is best for someone?" The simple answer is that you can't, unless you know your client. This is why the relationship is so important in the financial planning process. We want to know who you are and more than just what you want, we need to know how you make decisions, your weaknesses, strengths, personality flaws, etc. The better we know you as your financial planner, the more we can help you.

For us, the holidays are another opportunity to step outside of our Self and turn our focus toward others. It's something we strive to practice year-round, but the holiday season brings out unique opportunities to consider how we might show love to others.
