Real Estate
The number of physicians suffering from burnout continues to rise each year. Physicians face extraordinary professional and personal demands, and as a result, suffer from burnout more than most. Statistically, 1 in 3 physicians is experiencing burnout at any given time. The pace is hard to keep until normal retirement age and we believe one of the keys to reducing financial stress and the need to work as hard as you are today is through developing passive income sources with sound Real Estate investing.
Step 1
We will conduct an interview to understand your reasons for investing in real estate. We will have questions about your timeline, the goal of the purchase, will this be intended for personal use, areas of interest, what is your desired level of involvement in the management and maintenance of the property, etc... Once we've conducted the interview and have a clear picture of what type of real estate opportunities are right for you, our team will filter through a variety of options in this space and present what we believe could be a suitable option to consider.
STEP 2
After selecting which opportunity you wish to pursue, our team will help you:
Negotiate the purchase agreement
Provide guidance regarding the legal entities needed to own the property in a way the protects your personal assets
Find and choose the most appropriate form of financing for the project
Help with the development or selection of a property management team.
Step 3
After closing, you will have the option to manage the property on your own or with a property management company. How the property management should be handled and by whom will be largely based on the type of real estate, location, and complexity involved. The success of your passive income will depend heavily on the professionalism and service offered by your property management team. We will propose specific options; however, you are not obligated to use the companies we suggest. Just as you track the performance of your investment accounts, you will wish to monitor the performance of your Real Estate holdings. The property management companies suggested will send monthly Profit/Loss, Cash Flow, and Balance Sheet Statements for each property you own.
